NEW DELHI: Congress president Rahul Gandhi stated on Thursday that sacking of CBI chief Alok Verma twice confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to be a “prisoner of his enjoy lies” and there used to be terror in his mind over the alleged corruption within the Rafale airplane deal.

Gandhi’s attack came hours after Verma used to be removed as CBI director by a high-powered committee headed by Modi on expenses of corruption and dereliction of accountability, in an unprecedented motion within the central probe company’s fifty five-year historical past.

“Terror is now rampaging by Mr Modi’s mind. He can no longer sleep. He stole 30,000 Cr from the IAF and gave it to Anil Ambani. Sacking the CBI Chief #AlokVerma twice in a row, clearly shows that he is now a prisoner of his enjoy lies. Satyamev Jayate,” he tweeted.
